Freelance photographers with Jayphotos are self employed and own a professional grade DSLR and lens.
They must be confident with camera settings, particularly shutter speed, aperture and exposure.
Some equestrian experience is preferred, but not essential for someone who has good photographic skills.
Training can be offered to the right applicant.
Our freelancers typically work from six to fourty days a season with us , from March to October.
All our freelancers are based in South West England and have their own transport.
We offer a day rate with bonus reflecting sales.
RUNNERS & WORK EXPERIENCE
Runners work with us at Showing and County Shows.
Runners take cards from the photographers back to our base, and take cards, batteries etc out to the photographers.
They have time to enjoy the Show, free entry and are paid £25 a day to cover expenses.
They make take photos from outside the rings , and we give feedback and advice at the end of the day.
